Hi Jane, will take a look, but really don't think its possible to "BEAT" ra!
Always makes me a bit uneasy to read this term.
We can ease the journey in one way or another to a certain extent but I always feel that this makes it sound as though we are not trying hard enough to help ourselves and gives people the wrong idea about ra, and can be misleading.
I think folk who say they have beaten it are incredibly lucky to be in remission! I dont mean to sound like an old misery guts, and am very happy for those who have found relief.
I like to be open minded and am willing to try almost anything, within reason that is...... I just feel uncomfortable when I hear this said.
Thanks Zena xx.

Smile Hi Zena

If I see things about ra, I type a post about it - but I'm open minded!RollEyes
Does make me chuckle when the press make an eye catching title.

Anyway, unless I fall over the dogs, or down the stairs it will be highly unlikely I can get on the floor to do "the lotus" or "crab" in yoga!! My joints wouldn't allow me in any movement!LOL

Your not a missery guts, we are all free to express our views! Anyway imagine one day being "cured" and free from our nasty meds (no more dodgy tummy)!

Acupuncture looks good, however u need a hoist to get me on a table/couch.....I haven't the climbing power Sad

Jane, made me laugh!! unless you fall over the dogs or downstairs!! Me too!! I really cant remember the last time I was able to get on the floor lol!!
These articles are fine in their way, but do sometimes give a false idea of RA "it's just a bit of stiffness" and if we try, we can get well again. If only!!
Zena, yes people do go into remission, and that is wonderful for them. The rest of us continue to try different treatments and to hope we will be that lucky too.
Have a lovely weekend everyone x
